When is the downtime happening?
The downtime starts on 7th of March, hence will be the first day when we will not be able to post any job and you will not be able to access your candidate profile. On 20th of March all jobs will be visible, and you will have access to your candidate profile again.
What is the impact of the downtime?
We will not be able to post any jobs during the downtime, hence you won’t be able to apply.
You will not be able to access your candidate profile.
What is the impact of not having access to my candidate profile?
The impact is the following:
- You won’t be able to apply to any job
- You won’t be able to update your candidate profile (e.g. personal information, CV)
- You won’t be able to see the status of your application
I have an interview during the downtime, will it take place?
Yes, the interview is not impacted by the downtime
Will I need to re-apply after the downtime?
No, you won’t need to re-apply after the downtime. You will find all your documents and applications in your candidate profile from 20th of March onwards.
What do I need to do prior to the downtime?
- Check if all your data is updated
- Apply to the positions you are interested in
- Make a screenshot of the positions you applied to (voluntary, to be on the safe side)
What do I need to do after the downtime?
You need to reset the password of your candidate profile once to access your profile again. Your recruiter will send you an email including all relevant information.

Yes, definitely. Just look out for suitable positions and apply directly online. Please note that you may need a special visa.

In general it is not neccessary to do an internship at Vitesco Technologies in order to write your final thesis with us but it can definitely help.
