Acting as an Engine/Vehicle Calibration Engineer and System Technical Project Leader within the North American System Applications Team for Non-Automotive projects (Motorcycles, ATV, SSV, Outdoor Power Equipment, etc.).

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the development of the engine/vehicle control system applications and define the configuration (electrical and mechanical components, electronics, software & engine/vehicle calibration) within a project and contribute to the coherency of the system architecture.
• Manage the engine/vehicle control system integration test activities, verification and validation, and manage the planning for the test means and methodologies.

• Manage the dedicated engine/vehicle control system integration and is responsible for the system deliveries and content from development through serial production.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform engine/vehicle calibration including the development of new calibration methodologies.

• Responsible for the Technical Application Specification defining the performance, operational, and environmental requirements for an engine/vehicle application project.

• Create the functional definition and validation of new system functions.

• Act as the main technical interface internally and in front of the customer.
• Develop and maintain the vehicle safety documents (Hazard Analysis and Item Definition).

Perform anomaly analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.

• Support the Segment and Business Development for quotations.


Job Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (Bachelor’s).
• 5+ years of Gasoline Engine Management System experience.
• Automotive components, especially the technology of EMS components (fuel pump, ignition coil, injector, throttle body, etc.).
• Software Tools: INCA, MATLAB, CRETA, Engine/chassis dynamometer control, CANalyzer, Excel (VBA), MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Safety orientation and knowledge of ISO26262.
• Good communication and technical presentation.
• Team player, Autonomy, Initiative and Creativity.
