Our Electronic Center of competences Department for Non-Automotive product is looking for an Electric & Electronic Architect.

In the field of Non-Automotive projects (Motorcycles, ATV, Scooters, lawn mowers …), the Electronic Center of Competences [ECC] is responsible to design, maintain, and launch electronic components inside our product portfolio which will comply to market requirement and specify/design/validate industrial electronic solutions accordingly. Advance, base development and customer WW application projects utilize the resources of this engineering group to develop platform and design customer products.

 

As EEA (Electric & Electronic Architect) of our Electronic Center of Competencies [ECC] Non-Automotive your role consists in:

  • Based on customer and system requirements, EEA develops the product strategy, the inner ECU (Engine Control Unit) performance and outer to vehicle integration.
  • To define and maintain the electronic solutions necessary to match requirements of System Architecture.
  • Participates in the development, Proposes New Technology, defines interfaces between different Components.
  • Responsible for the Electrical/Electronic architecture of the Entire product.
  • Responsible for Platform Design & Application Design. Supports the application projects for requirement analysis in case of gap between platform design capabilities & OEM request.
  • Partnering with the Project Manager, S-TPL , eTPL to come to a common acceptable Solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Head of the first level scheme (architecture) of the complete electronic product (or subcomponent).
  • Identify suitable solution for Vehicle requirement by defining Block diagram, Configure circuits for Sensor inputs & Actuators, configure New Solutions, implement changes to existing solution.
  • Work closely with Electronic Design Team to implement Electronic solutions and review their deliverables. Participate in Design Reviews.
  • Define Test Plan to Validate the Component and Support Design Team & Production Team for executing the Qualification.
  • Ensures the Safety assessment of the electronic solution is completed, and the design is adapted to fit the implied requirements.
  • Quote elaboration as electronic solution provider (technical definition & documents set up, workload estimation).
  • Quality Gate preparation. Communication & lessons learned in the competence center.
  • Supports Generic system integration, verification & validation on pilot application, calibration. Participates in Bench Marking of Competing Products.

 

Qualifications:

  • Around 8 to 10 years of experience in Automotive Product Development.
  • Good working knowledge of automotive control unit components with good basis on electrical requirement at product level
  • Command of Program Management and Engineering principles
  • You have a degree (at least Bachelor, Or Masters) in the area of Electronics / Electrical Engineering
  • Good organizational, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Experience with multidiscipline engineering and team management; comfortable with the 'system' mindset.
  • Fluent English
  • Strong interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.  Ability to prioritize and manage workload. Eager to grow and develop.
  • Ability to lead individuals and teams without direct reports.
