Software Developer - Software defined Vehicle 

As the Software Developer of innovation Vehicle Control (m/f/d) you will drive new Software technology-concepts for “Software defined Vehicle” related to new EE Architectures and products.   

Your Key Responsibilities  

• Development of High-Performance Computing software solutions of middleware integration for automotive applications. 
• Design and Implementation and Prototype solutions of new software architectures based on AUTOSAR Adaptive an alternative. 
• Estimation of technology trends in electronic controls portfolio cross products 
• Contribute to “proof of concept” in closed alignment between innovation and Engineering teams. 
• Elaboration of technical feasibility and presenting to expert communities as well customers. 
• Reporting to Head of System Design and Architecture Vehicle Controls located In the Innovation department of electrification solutions. 

Your Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (computer science, electronics and telecommunication, informatics), master’s degree desired  
• Minimum 7 to 10+ years’ experience in Automotive Software technology and experience in international Software projects with global OEM’s.  
• Strong knowledge of C++ features and best practices 
• Broad experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive and Communication Protocols such as SOME/IP and DDS 
• Experience with POSIX-Based Operating Systems (e.g., Linux), memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization. 
• Initial Knowledge of SOA principles and their application in automotive systems 
• Awareness of safety-critical systems and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
