The Electrical Engineer is a key team member responsible to support the development and HW design of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) .

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform and debug ECU electrical test validation
  • Support EMC and Lifetime ECU troubleshooting
  • Create electrical engineering documentation
  • Procure Components for prototype builds
  • Perform electrical sub ­circuits Lab verification / validation
  • Document properly the test results take in the lab (Test reports)
  • Write ECU Lifetime test specifications
  • Write ECU Lifetime test electrical equipment requirements
  • Write ECU EMC test specifications
  • Write ECU Electrical Test specifications

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to multitask and perform a broad set of task from the essential function list (Task flexibility is key)
  • Highly motivated Engineer
  • Team player
  • Outstanding knowledge and understanding of electrical circuit theory (RC, RL, RCL circuits, Diodes, OpAmps, BJT’s and MOSFETs)
  • Hands­ on experience in lab test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, wave form generator, multi­meter, etc.
  • Hardware development knowledge preferably on Analog
  • Knowledge on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing methodologies
  • Product Development Process knowledge: Requirements traceability, Design, Simulation, Unit Tests, Validation, Warranty Returns Analysis.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in engineering
  • 3 years engineering experience
  • Experience in automotive electrical engineering (analog circuit design)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in automotive electrical engineering
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experienced with electrical sub ­circuits Lab verification / validation
  • Experienced with debugging ECU EMC testing
