We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead series projects for Mild Hybrid products.

The Project Manager drives, leads and manages a project within the specified time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the stakeholders, ensuring economic success for the company and product profitability over lifetime.

This will include the following responsibilities:

• Setup an initial project plan in accordance with the BU's valid processes (phases, deliverables, milestones/ Q-Gates, etc.);
• Define and track product KPI's in his area of responsibility;
• Planning, leading and managing project teams (D5 Projects) to realize the agreed objectives and to implement the core team decisions in affected plants;
• Establish adequate project organization and framework (e.g. tools used, meeting structure, information / knowledge exchange, documentation, archiving);
• Track the project progress, define corrective measures if deviating from the plan;
• Report the project status in accordance with the valid tool and process set;
• Install and perform professional change management;
• Perform risk assessments;
• Leads the preparation activities for Phase out of product out of serial production.
   

Additional Responsibilities:

• Representation of project in customer meetings;
• Representation of project interests in supplier meetings;
• Based on professional, well documented change management negotiate changes and claims with the customer and with suppliers;
• Protect confidentiality of project data;
• Actively manage stakeholder expectations, inform and involve stakeholders on a regular basis and in an appropriate manner;
• Assign work packages to project team members;
• Help build up a supportive culture of cooperation and team work with the project.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of methods and tools of project management;
• Degree in Engineering or similar education;
• Long-term professional experience within automotive-industry;
• Process Development know-how / Production Process Development know-how;
• Test Coverage Analysis: Safe Launch; Line Release; PPAP
