Your Key Responsibilities

[Job Description]

  • Technical management of an interdisciplinary project team for series development of HV electric drives across multiple development locations
  • Initiation and control of cooperation & exchange of information between the departments Electrical Engineering, Software, Mechanics, System and Test.
  • Central project partner for the customer & internal project manager, as well as assuming overall technical responsibility for the product to be developed.
  • Clarification of system requirements and delivery dates with the customer in coordination with internal departments, considering the concerns of functionality, quality, reliability / service life, functional safety, manufacturing and costs.
  • Planning, milestone tracking and risk management to monitor development progress in terms of deadline, function, cost, quality standards.
  • Presentation and presentation of work results and project status in front of the customer and internal steering circles.
  • Planning and coordination of all work packages at the system level from the clarification of the requirements and architecture up to the system tests according to the development process and technical compliance.
  • Planning and approval of all sample deliveries (function, deadline, quality), as well as drafting & coordination of the release conditions with management & customers.
  • Initiation and cooperation of a system architecture. Clarification of internal interfaces and with the customer to create an overall concept.
  • Preparation and moderation of working groups to solve technical problems and conflict situations about planning and resources.

 

Your Qualifications

[Job Qualification]

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor preferable in electrical or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and electrical drive technology.
  • Knowledge about the powertrain of electric vehicles.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in automotive industry with focus on powertrain.
  • Preferable working experience as system technical project leader. 
  • Planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and structure, strong communication skills, assertiveness and networking and conflict management skills.
  • Resilient personality with decisiveness and confident appearance.
  • Good English skills in writing and speaking. Native Korean speaker.
  • Intercultural competence.
