General information
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR to lead our Human Resources & Industrial Relations functions for Vitesco Technologies Pune, Talegaon Plant. This role is crucial for leading employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, HR compliance and HR operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all HR processes and Industrial relations at Plant. Head of HR will align HR initiatives with the business objectives of Vitesco Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. (now Schaeffler group) and contribute to the company’s long-term goals.
Your Key Responsibilities
•Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead the execution of HR initiatives including employee engagement, talent management, and leadership development.
•Leads and implements HR projects in the assigned area of responsibilities. Participates in other business projects, representing with general HR knowledge to achieve the project deliverables.
•Consults and guides the organization through times of significant changes (e.g. digital transformation, VUCA world) and supports organizational development.
•Acts as a role model of our company values and culture. Ensure execution of complete employee lifecycles at the location
•Working collaboratively with Plant manager & Operations team to ensure harmonious relations with union & shopfloor employees. Regular connect between management and shopfloor employees to improve trust and harmonious relationships
•Drive positive labor & employee relations strategy locally by addressing employee’s queries on time, union matters,
•Leads and guides managers as well as individual employees in talent and performance management processes in accordance with country specific legal regulations, CoE guidance, and company guidelines. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
•Oversee payroll processing and manage compensation and benefits programs. Analyze compensation trends and ensure competitive remuneration packages.
•Implement and maintain HR systems and databases for efficient HR processes. Leverage technology to streamline HR operations and reporting.
Your Qualifications
•Degree in Human Resources. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
•Minimum of 10+ years of experience in HR management in manufacturing MNC organizations
•Strong knowledge of HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.
•Proven experience in talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
•Experience in a managerial or leadership role.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Proficient in English
