Your new responsibility:

• Responsible for the development of future innovative systems for the electrical low voltage power supply of cars. This includes project management as well as budget responsibility
• Analysis and design of electrical power supply solutions considering relevant standards
• Conceptual analysis of functional safety on system- and component level
• Technical coordination of interdisciplinary cooperation as well as alignment of system development related topics with internal and external customers, suppliers and universities
• Define long-term advanced development roadmaps for low voltage powernet of cars in close cooperation with the engineering departments
• Represent Vitesco Technologies at national and international conferences and panels
• Lead competence center team of four employees

Your qualification:

• University degree in electrical engineering, physics or comparable field
• Long-term professional experience in the automotive industry, preferably with knowledge of powernet topologies and supply systems
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of HV traction powernets, LV supply powernets and the relevant components
• Knowledge of power electronics preferable
• Experience in moderating and working with an interdisciplinary, international and global team
• Analytical thinking, open-mindedness, thinking out of the box
• Leadership skills
• Fluent in English and German
