Full Job Description
Work closely with the facilities team and other team plant team members to ensure projects are well managed and completed successfully.
Provide project management support related to new construction and renovation projects, new line startups and other facilities and construction projects.
Create or participate in the creation of project budgets. Track and report on project expenses. Prepare pay applications and invoices for payment as appropriate.
Develop or participate in the development of project schedules. Monitor schedule milestones, track progress, and implement schedule recovery efforts when needed.
Manage or assist in the management of architectural and engineering design processes. Review project drawings and specifications. Solicit feedback from other team members as warranted, providing support as needed to team members who are not familiar with design drawings and documents. Track comment status and ensure potential design issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
Create and manage project work plans. Coordinate the work of internal and external team members. Communicate effectively regarding team member roles and responsibilities, project priorities, progress etc.
Participate in contractor, architect, developer and vendor selection and negotiation as needed. Review contracts and leases.
Manage project Furniture, Fixture and Equipment as needed. To include tasks like space planning, inventory creation and oversight, budget development and tracking, vendor and item selection, order placement, creation of installation flows and schedules etc.
Plan and oversee physical moves as needed, including scheduling, vendor/staff coordination, training and orientation, safety, budgeting, and expense tracking etc.
Maintain comprehensive and well-organized project records, to include Owner & Maintenance Manuals, as built documents, warranties, specifications, contracts, pay applications, change orders, insurance, etc.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Min. 3 years experience in Facilities and Construction project management
Strong time-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear and strong written and verbal English communication skills
Partnering - will organize regular meetings with members of a team with external stakeholders to deliver work packages on time and within scope
Legal Authorization to work in U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in automation design and manufacturing
