Your Key Responsibilities
-
Support factory layout design optimization and implementation of layout planning standard operating procedures
-
Manage a proper priority project list to detect anything that could impact new projects or completion target dates
-
Perform manufacturing floor layout audits to define constraints and opportunities on material flow and line output capabilities
-
Manage project priorities using analytical tools
-
Cooperate with cross-functional engineering and production teams to fulfill project objectives
-
Able to hold/lead meetings with different areas of operation to communicate the information relevant to the projects at hand

Work with facilities engineers to define and implement proper equipment utility requirements for new equipment or production lines

Lead and Participate in Facility Management meetings

Identify and participate in Safety and Ergonomic improvements
-
Apply Six Sigma and Lean Principles to include the use of value stream maps, line balancing, and error proofing
-
Maintain office/workspace 5S best practice standards
-
Support the development of a carbon neutral and sustainable energy operation plan
-
Create accurate project scopes of work, timelines, and regular reporting
-
Maintain standard work/project documentation in a shared file database
Your Qualifications
-
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and working towards an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering bachelors degree
-
Must be in good standing and currently have a GPA 2.8 or higher
-
1 year of Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering with experience in factory layout design or 2 years of relevant engineering courses completed
-
Intermediate knowledge of LEAN practices
-
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills

Ability to develop and evaluate standards and procedures
-
AutoCAD experience preferred
-
Microsoft Office experience preferred
-
Microsoft Power BI, Automate, and related software preferred
-
Quick learner who easily adapts to different situations
-
Time management skills preferred
-
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the company

Working schedule: M-F flexible hours between 7am-6pm and 25 minimum total working hours per week
