As a candidate for this position, you should be interested in applying your education in Engineering to design and improve Robotics solutions in a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing environment. Our location currently has over 100 robots from industry leading manufacturers like Universal Robotics and Fanuc performing a wide array of operations throughout our plant. Each of these applications were designed, assembled, and commissioned internally by our Advanced Robotics Team.  As a part of that team, you’ll have the backing of years of experience in electronics manufacturing and equipment design and get to work closely with other departments including Industrial Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Operations, and Test to Continually Improve and develop new solutions. Our site also has a great selection of resources readily available including over a dozen 3D printers, a Machine Shop, and a Kaizen group to quickly transform your designs from idea to reality.  If you are up for a challenge, enjoy collaborating on solutions, and would like to take your passion for Robotics and Engineering into a career in Manufacturing then this position is a great choice for you!

Design & Development

  • Reference process requirements and design guidelines
  • Create and review equipment/ production concepts
  • Mechanical design of end of arm tool, fixtures, frame etc
  • Electrical control component selection and design
  • Robot program development / safety risk assessment

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide Second level production support
  • Analyze operational data and structured problem solving to identify opportunities
  • Implement production improvements with measurable operational gains



  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronics, or Mechanical preferred)
  • Robotics Experience (Universal, Fanuc, Techman preferred)
  •  3D CAD (Solidworks preferred)
  • Electrical design and part selection
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Must be able to work well on a team
  • Strong, clear, written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical documentation

Preferred Qualifiactions

  • Knowledge of safety standards for machine design and risk assessment
  • ROS, python, C/C++ programming
  • 3D printing / prototyping
