General Information:

  • Have deep know-how in system level about Chassis control especially for damper control and air suspension control. Need define chassis system architecture and solution based on customer vehicle level requirement, define requirement to sub-system (control unit, actuator, SW control strategy). Provide technical mentoring to team individuals at all levels of experience

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead/coordinate engineers in making good decisions to balance all aspects of the chassis system. Also lead interactions with Systems Engineering and Functional Safety organizations to ensure system capability to meet all applicable requirements.
  • Lead the technical discussion with customer for system level solution definition
  • Based on requirement for customers lead the architecture design for vehicle motion controller
  • Translate the system architecture design into H/W and software product concept
  • Abstract difference customer requirement to platform product design

 

Your Qualifications:

B.S. or greater in electrical engineering, computer science or other related field with 5+ years’ experience as system engineer in vehicle motion/ chassis domain.

 

  • Expert knowledge of Automotive Chassis / Motion Systems and associated features e.g. Adaptive Damping, Switchable Air Springs, Fully Active Suspension.
  • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics theory particularly in the active systems domain
  • Strong ability to guide and coach team members to enhance the team’s capability.
  • Hands on vehicle testing in the active systems domain including subjective and objective test methods, along with appropriate industry standard driving qualifications.
  • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics theory particularly in the active systems domain.
  • Experience of safety critical active control systems and associated software, including standards such as ISO26262
