Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, modular, and robust automotive software architectures to support connected, electric vehicle platforms.
- Collaborate closely with local teams to deeply understand customer requirements and ensure that software solutions are tailored to meet specific local market demands while staying aligned with global standards.
- Stay abreast of global automotive software trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices (e.g., AUTOSAR, functional safety, cybersecurity) to ensure the software architecture remains forward-thinking and competitive.
- Act as the primary liaison between local teams and global experts, ensuring that local insights are effectively communicated and integrated into global development strategies and vice versa.
- Present complex software solutions, architectures, and technical strategies to global and local stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across diverse teams.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and software developers, promoting best practices in architecture design, development processes, and software quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in software architecture and development processes by evaluating current approaches and introducing enhancements based on industry trends and customer needs.-
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks related to software architecture, ensuring that solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements such as safety, security, and performance.
Your Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in embedded software development, with at least 5 years in automotive software architecture or system-level architecture roles.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive software architecture principles, including experience with standards such as AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive platforms), ISO 26262, AUTOSAR Adaptive, and other relevant industry standards.
- Proven ability to understand local customer needs and translate them into actionable software architectures that address specific market challenges and requirements.
- Strong experience in working with global teams and managing cross-cultural collaboration, ensuring effective communication between local and global stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of current and future automotive trends, including vehicle connectivity, autonomous systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital cockpit solutions.
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
- Expertise in embedded C/C++ programming, system-level design, software development lifecycle, and version control (e.g., Github).
- Familiarity with automotive development tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, Vector, etc.) and methodologies (Agile, V-model, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems, balancing trade-offs between performance, safety, cost, and time-to-market.
- Experience leading large teams, driving architectural decisions, and coordinating large-scale automotive software projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to work effectively across different teams and cultures
- Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
