Your Key Responsibilitie:

  • Analysis and clarification of customer requirements (specifications) with the customer and the internal departments Hardware, Software, Mechanics and Test
  • Assessment of customer requirement taking into account the concerns functionality, quality and life, cost and technical compliance including functional safety, Cybersecurity of the components OBC, DC / DC converter, electric drives.
  • Derivation and documentation system requirements and/or system specifications from a stakeholder request by collaborating with cross-functional teams according to the methods of requirements engineering
  • System concept design and specific feature concept design based on the requirements
  • Development and optimization strategy to enhance system efficiency, thermal performance, etc
  • Collaboration in the creation of a system architecture and FMEA, as well as clarification of internal and external system interfaces
  • Collaboration in the creation of different models to simulate the behavior of the components in the powertrain or vehicle, e.g. efficiency
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure proper system integration
  • Support in the evaluation of the test results together with the disciplines for test, hardware, software, mechanics and functional safety
  • Leading Issue analysis and system integration on the test bench and on the vehicle
  • Be able to support warrantee analysis with different discipline.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree and above in electrical engineering, mechatronics, Automation engineering, power engineering, technical computer science or a comparable field of study
  • Min. 5 years working experience in automotive industry
  • Min. 3 years working experience in high voltage, high power systems
  • Knowledge of power electronics (OBC, DCDC) and control engineering
  • Knowledge in requirements engineering and system architecture by use of system engineering tools
  • Analytical mind and strong communication skills
  • Good English skills in written and spoken
