For our new Technical Compliance Management System (TCMS) we are looking for a technical regulations specialist to ensure Legal Technical Regulations and standards (LTR) are uniformly interpreted and implemented across Vitesco Technologies products. The Specialist of Engineering Standards Management belongs to the Basic Software and Technical Compliance organization within Vitesco Technologies Engineering.

Job Description

• Monitoring of Legal Technical Regulations and Standards for technical areas (Homologation and others depending on project needs, e.g. Radio Frequency, Emission) including the management of an up-to-date and exhaustive LTR list in China.
• Derivation of LTR into technical requirements in coordination with the specific product development teams across the Engineering community.
• Clarification and interpretation of LTR relevance and mapping to the different impacted products.
• Coordinate LTR list related topics, check updates and explanate question from project team.
• Interface between the corporate LTR Manager (LTRM) and the engineering organization to ensure the exhaustiveness of our Vitesco Technologies central LTR database (Wisdom)
• Support Technical Compliance concern, clearing and incident management (pre- and post-SOP) with own expertise.
• Coordination between different functional areas for legal technical work products

Job Requirements

• Completed degree in a technical field of study (e.g. electric drives, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle technology or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in the technical/development area of the automotive industry
• Experience with requirements engineering and corresponding tools (e.g. IMS, DOORS, Polarion)
• Good communication skills as well as team working & networking
• Business fluent English language skills written and spoken
• Self-organized workstyle and start-up mentality
