They are working in Agile teams and are responsible to deliver a high-quality software that will be integrated in innovative products which will end up in tomorrow’s cars

 

Job description: 

 

Being part of our SW Team from Timisoara, as a Functional Software Developer you will have the opportunity to work with automotive controls algorithms, uC specifics.

Matlab/Simulink/TargetLink models, embedded C, AUTOSAR Software architecture. In engineering products, the control algorithm is the brain of the machine.

Complexity of the systems used in automotive industry demands development methodologies that save time and ensure reliability and we can achieve this by using Model Based Development. Automation of the processes and the possibility to generate automatically the code, testing and documentation will be done in a faster way, something that we always aspire.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • University degree in a relevant field (Automatic Control and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics etc.);
  • Knowledge of electronics and microcontrollers;
  • Knowledge of embedded applications;
  • Debugging and verification skills;
  • Knowledge of structured multi-layered SW Architecture;
  • Knowledge in modeling and simulation tools (e.g. Matlab / Simulink)
  • Knowledge of development process, quality assurance and toolsKnowledge in specific automotive system
  • Knowledge of standards and software development process including global trends in automotive (ISO26262 safety, ASPICE);
  • Development of software concepts and specifications, perform software design and implement functional software modules;
  • Integrate and validate generic designs, assess third party software;

 

Would be a plus?

  • Knowledge about power electronics (e.g.  Inverters, Electric Motors)
  • Knowledge of automotive standards and automotive experience
  • Knowledge with MATLAB Simulink.
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git, Gerrit, Integrity) and change management methods (e.g. Jira)
  • Good programming skills in ANSI C;
  • Advanced level of English.
