You will be responsible for design of a specific functional block withing a High Voltage Box (HVB). You will need to ensure the technical development of the functional block, keeping in mind the time schedule, costs and quality, according to the internal derived requirements.

The HVB is any electronic  system that control the charging (Voltage and current) of the battery from various energy sources (AC, DC)

HVB Functional blocks ensure specific functions like: PFC, High Voltage DCDC, Control modules, Power distribution units.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Performing electronic modules development tasks.
  • Design and validation.
  • Performing process documentation (planning, module documentation, layout requirements, FMEA).
  • Writing test specifications and performing hardware electrical test on development samples.
  • Regular synchronizations with pilot projects responsible.
  • Technical consultation with customers, suppliers and the respective departments

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Electronics / Telecommunications / Automatics.
  • Several years of experience as a hardware developer in the field of power electronics, ideally in the automotive application.
  • Very good knowledge in the field of analog circuit design.
  • Good Knowledge about DC/DC converters / PFC topologies.
  • Knowledge on simulation and calculation tools (Spice / Saber / Mathcad).
