We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT security specialist to join our global IT infrastructure and managed services team. The position will be responsible for ensuring the security of our centrally managed on-premises and cloud servers, protecting the company’s data, and mitigating security risks. 

This role involves close collaboration with our international teams and the implementation of robust security measures across a diverse IT environment for both Linux and Windows servers in a managed service scope. 

Key Responsibilities 

Security Strategy and Planning: 

• Help to develop and implement comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures. 
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security practices into the IT infrastructure lifecycle. 
• Coordination of known risks and addressing them to the appropriate teams.
• Tracking of open vulnerabilities.
• Close collaboration with the global cybersecurity team.

On-Premises and Cloud Security Management: 

• Monitor, advise and manage security configurations for on-premises and cloud servers. 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g. CIS).

Security Monitoring and Reporting: 

• Help to improve security monitoring solutions and detection of threats in real-time. 
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

Training and Awareness: 

• Provide guidance and support to IT team members on security best practices. 
• Develop documentation and resources to support security initiatives. 
• Be the ambassador for our security innovations towards the global cyber security team. 

Collaboration and Support: 

• Work closely with cross-country IT teams to ensure cohesive security strategies. 
• Support IT projects by providing security expertise during the planning and implementation phases. 
• Liaise with vendors to ensure security requirements are met and maintained. 

Qualifications: 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. 

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security roles. 

Proven experience with security management in both on-premises and cloud environments, supporting security for Linux and Windows platforms. 

Skills: 

• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices. 
• Proficiency with security tooling and practices around scanning, auditing, hardening and patching of vulnerabilities or configuration on Linux and Windows servers. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 
• Ability to work in a global and multicultural team. 
• Familiarity with system hardening benchmarks by CIS or similar issuers. 
• Knowledge networking basics.
