We are looking for a Financial Analyst in our BU EC North America Controlling team. The Financial Analyst is responsible for the R&D and Shared services controlling for BU EC North America. This position will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and reporting financial data for BU EC North America including month-end close, analysis of financial statements, and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reports for management.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of Weekly tracker for BU EC and VTE NA locations.
  • Collect and prepare R&D Reimbursements Forecast for Forecasts and Plan for BU EC NA
  • Investment: monthly tracking, creating, and monitoring ECRs including maintaining GPA Forecasts and Budget for BU EC NA and VTE
  • Headcount Reporting on a monthly basis for BU EC NA and VTE
  • Monthly closing: input Gloria Forecasts, Budgets, and Actuals for R&D for VTE and BU EC NA
  • Monthly closing: RACE uploads for Forecasts and Budgets for BU EC NA and VTE
  • VTOS: Approvals and Monitoring of all VTOS Orders.
  • Reporting: VTE Reporting Package including cost centers reporting, project reporting, and Hours reporting.
  • Monthly reporting from Global PS for product line Program Managers.
  • Shared Services cost centers, Budget, Forecast, and monthly actuals monitoring and reporting.
  • House Orders processing for both internal and external customers and monitoring billings.
  • Managing A/R overdue for NPF Locations for BU EC
  • Assist in the Year-end End Audit as well as Internal Audit as and when required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong financial analysis experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and detail-oriented
  • Strong technical accounting/problem-solving skills and attention to accuracy
  • Strong ability to be well organized while managing multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools mainly Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP Financials
