Member of the global Vitesco IT Business Applications Finance team, supporting current Finance BW applications and promoting the implementation of new BI solutions (e.g. applications for invest/R&D controlling or the system for the group consolidation)

Scope of work:

• Works as a Finance consultant, supporting Vitesco’s various applications on our Finance BW, e.g. solutions for global invest/R&D controlling or the group consolidation system RACE
• Advises our internal customers on how to transform their business requirements into appropriate system solutions
• Recommends and implements BI solutions (especially SAP Analytics cloud) with our internal customers at Vitesco Technology
• Works with end users to understand reporting needs and designs data models (especially BW data models and CDS views)
• Promotes the usage of SAP standard while being able to design and build custom-made solutions where SAP standard does not meet business requirements

Qualification:

• Academic degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• 3-5 years of experience as BI consultant
• Expert level of expertise in the setup and maintenance of BI solutions (SAC, Power BI)
• Experience in setting up data models in S/4 (CDS views)
• Expert level of expertise in the setup and maintenance of BW applications
• Experience with SAP standard BW reporting tools (Analysis for Office, BEx, Web Application Designer)
• Ability to analyze and solve authorization issues in BW applications and BI solutions
• Several years of work experience (as BI or SAP consultant) in an international environment
• Capable of managing or executing tasks, projects or assignments and drive results to completion with minimal or no oversight
• Interpersonal negotiation and influence skills
• Ability to analyze custom ABAP code and solve complex problems
• Fluent in spoken and written English
