The Vitesco emissions sensors group supports a global business with a diverse customer base in sensor analysis and new product validation. This career opportunity involves working in a team environment with potential to grow with a major automotive supplier.  


Job Description:

  • Utilization of software tools, electrical hardware analysis and specialized evaluation of an automotive emissions gas probe.
  • Follow standard work processes for sensor analysis with opportunities to develop unique test strategies for specific situations.
  • Team environment with diverse responsibilities, each team member has their unique responsibilities while also assisting in each other’s roles.
  • Both collecting of raw data for databases purposes and at other times assembling test reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exposure to new product development, production validation and field return analysis in all aspects including software, hardware, and mechanical design topics.


Basic Requirements: (mandatory)

  • 2 years + in electrical analysis, test, or field repair
  • Associates degree in electrical engineering technology or related field
  • Microsoft office, basic software skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • English read/written skills, German language a plus
  • A strong drive to execute and exceed expectations, quality focused, team first and diverse work environment
  • Exceptional organization and ability to follow established processes

Preferred Requirements

  • Visual Basic (VBA) programming experience
  • Python programming experience
  • Environmental testing experience
