Your role will be to lead a group of about 25 software developers who deliver high quality solutions for one of our customers.

Job Description:

• Disciplinary and technical leadership for the assigned group
• Establishment, management and further development of own group in coordination with the department management.
• Develop and implement group strategy in accordance with department strategy.
• Support team members in their assignments. Manage hiring, coaching, career planning and salary recommendations of your group members
• Organize appropriate training of employees in order to continuously improve their level of technical know-how;
• Define roles and interfaces in own group in order to efficiently allocate incoming work 
• Be the main contact person between internal customers and group members;
• Approvals for activities within the group leader function
• Perform periodical evaluation for team members
• Collaborate with other Vitesco Technologies groups to ensure synchronization across multiple teams, contributing to the final product deliverables; international collaboration is required;

Job Requirements:

• University degree in computer science, automation, electronics, telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable qualification.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in the field of embedded software development
• At least 3 years of  professional experience in people management or coordination. Experience in leading other managers is a plus.
• Good analytical reasoning, problem solving skills and ability to understand complex systems.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good planning and organizing abilities.
• Passion for working in an international team
• Initiative, dedication, attention to detail
• Ability to take decisions based on limited amount of information
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
