In order to support our strategic projects in the field of hybridization, electrification and digitization, we are looking for you as our future specialist in tool and methods for Model based Development.

In the field of Model Based Development (MBD), you are responsible for supporting our engineers in modeling, simulating, coding, testing and documenting SW functions. 

Your main tasks are support and consulting of our System and SW Engineers working on systematically derived simulation models used as single source for code generation and documentation. You will contribute to the development and revision of methods, processes, and workflows in the "System Design Automation" (SDA) framework, which is part of the standardized processes and methods of Vitesco Technologies.

Your tasks:

• Modeling and running simulations of the SW functions implemented and tested by modeling in Matlab/Simulink and automatic code generation with EmbededCoder based on standardized design methods and tools;
• Development of the method, tool, and workflow, i.e. also scripting and programming as a basis for continuous improvement of our workflows;
• Clarification and elaboration of the requirements of our internal users and stakeholders, i.e. requirements and needs regarding tool usage and features or application of the methods;
• Consulting, support of our users and customer projects worldwide.

Your qualifications:

• Graduated university in the field of computer science, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable field of study;
• Experience with Matlab, Simulink;
• Experience in the field of SW engineering, modeling, simulation, code generation or requirements engineering;
• Experience in programming in e.g. Matlab m-script, C, C++, Java;
• Fluent English spoken and written;
• Result orientation and passion;
• Structured way of working;
• Ability to communicate and work in a team.
